Thank you for your interest in performing at Serendipity Cafe!
What interested musicians need to know:
Serendipity Cafe is a family friendly environment and a working cafe. We will be open for business during the duration of performances and our staff will continue to serve customers. Our establishment has approximately 40 seats and our stage area is best suited to groups with 1-4 musicians. Our owners Laura & Johnny Hobson are lifelong musicians themselves, who you can sometimes find performing at or hosting our Friday night open mics. We provide the sound system (details available upon request), and there is also a piano available for your use. We hope that you will encourage your friends and fans to support our establishment by purchasing food and drink while they are here in hopes that we can continue to support and offer live music going forward. At present, we extend each band member that is listed as part of the group at the time of booking one free meal and beverage. All musicians are encouraged to put out a tip jar, mailing list, sell merchandise, perform at our Friday night Open Mic to promote their gig etc. We expect and encourage that you will promote your gig via social and other media, and we will in turn do the same.
We are licensed with BMI, ASCAP & SESAC.
